2023

     

Sal St. & Industrial Dr. - Sanitary Sewer - E23

 

UPDATE: Thursday, December 1, 2023.

Construction consists of sanitary sewer main replacement and service replacements to the right of way at previously identified properties. Upon completion of replacements, all sewer main will be interior lined to enhance the longevity of the underground utility. All roads will be patched with asphalt and all disturbed turf areas will be restored upon completion.

Sewer Contractor to finish sanitary service replacements. Asphalt Contractor to finish restoration on all work that has been completed.

Road Closures, Vehicles & Traffic
For all construction, the road will remain open to a minimum of one-lane of travel. Slight delays may be encountered due to construction equipment using the area. Be attentive of construction workers directing traffic through the construction zone.

Business Access
Business access will be maintained as much as possible during construction. We intend to keep driveways open to each business at all times, but may need to temporarily close one due to service location. Prior communication will occur if access will be unobtainable. Please contact the Construction Manager if you require special access needs.

It is the intent of the Village to minimize the amount of disruption and inconvenience to the community during any construction process. If during normal work hours you feel something went unnoticed, or needs attention, please contact Cedar Corporation @920-491-9081. As project inspector, Cedar is most familiar with the daily operations of construction and can resolve many issues quickly.

If something happens after normal work hours that you feel requires immediate attention, please contact our On-Call Laborer @ 920-371-0744, and arrangements will be made to resolve the issue. As always, in an emergency, please call 911.

Mailboxes
Blue Spruce Dr. & Blue Moon Dr. - A-23

UPDATE: Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Mailboxes

If you are not receiving mail and/or the curb in front of your mailbox has been removed, please utilize the temporary gang mailboxes located on the corner of Blue Spruce Dr. and Blue Moon Dr. where there are no curb repairs happening. The mailboxes will be in place for the project's duration, anticipated completion date on/around August 18, 2023.

Road Paving Project - A-23

 

UPDATE: Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

The Village Board, as part of the 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan, authorized Road Paving Project 
for completion in 2023. Blue Spruce Dr and Ct, Lucerne Ct, Vail Ct, Garden Hts Ct, Bluebill St, Oriole St, surface layer Willow Grove Area, Bedford Hts Area and reconstruction for Mallard St and Keehan Ln. The work consists of curb and gutter patching, asphalt pavement removal, proof roll/patching, asphalt pavement and landscape restoration.

WEEK OF 08/14/2023
Pavement removal, base course patching (as necessary) and pavement restoration on Vail Ct, Lucerne Ct, and Garden Heights Ct.

For all construction, the road will be closed to through traffic. Travel through the area will be possible, but delays are likely due to construction equipment using the area. Be attentive of construction workers directing traffic through the construction zone.

Resident Access
Local resident access to and from your home will be maintained as much as possible during construction. If your driveway needs to be closed while construction is taking place, you will be notified by knocking on the door and leaving a door hanger in advance of the closure. Concrete will need cure time of 7 days prior to crossing. Please contact the project inspector, Jake Fischer, Village of Bellevue if you require special access needs.

Manitowoc Rd. & Sidewalk Project - C23

 

UPDATE: Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Construction consists of reconstruction for Manitowoc Road. The work consists of curb and gutter patching, asphalt pavement removal, culvert replacement, excavation and base course installation, asphalt pavement and landscape restoration.

Construction for sidewalk for Allouez Avenue and Willow Road. The work consists of clear/grub vegetation, excavation, base course, concrete sidewalk/driveways and landscape restoration.

For Manitowoc Road construction, the road will be closed to traffic. Travel through the area will not be possible. Be attentive of construction workers directing traffic through the construction zone while accessing your residence. For the Sidewalk Areas, road will be open to thru traffic while working.

Local resident access to and from your home will be maintained as much as possible during construction from one direction only. If your driveway needs to be closed while construction is taking place, you will be notified by knocking on the door and leaving a door hanger in advance of the closure. Concrete will need cure time of 7 days prior to crossing. Please contact the project inspector, Jake Fischer, Village of Bellevue if you require special access needs.

Road Closures, Vehicles & Traffic
For Manitowoc Road during culvert construction, the road will be closed to ALL traffic. Travel through the area will not be possible. Be attentive of construction workers directing traffic through the construction zone while accessing your residence. Signs rerouting traffic to local businesses will be posted at nearby intersections. However, there will not be a marked detour route. After the completion of the culvert construction, the roadway will be then only closed to thru-traffic.

If your driveway needs to be closed while construction is taking place, you will be notified by knocking on the door and leaving a door hanger in advance of the closure. A short presentation will be made at 5:30 p.m., followed by an open question/answer session with project representatives.
