Village Administrator - Bellevue is seeking an experienced professional to collaborate closely with elected officials and administrative staff to meet the challenges and opportunities of their growing community. Located in the dynamic Green Bay metro area, Bellevue’s population has increased 13% in the last 10 years in Wisconsin’s third-fastest growing county, Brown County. The community is projected to grow to over 17,000 by 2025. As the home to almost 1,000 businesses, the Village takes great pride in its balanced and thriving economy, highly educated workforce and quality of life supported by its favorable geographic location (adjacent to I-43, near Austin Straubel Airport and the Port of Green Bay), excellent medical services and nearby colleges and universities. Starting salary range: $88-$123K DOQ, plus excellent benefits. Village President and four Board Members elected on a non-partisan basis. 2021 budget is $23.7M including: Sewer, Stormwater and Water Utilities as well as TIF and CIP. Total of 30 employees including: FT, PT and contracted.  Future emphasis on municipal facility upgrades; addressing long-term staffing needs; robust capital improvement planning and execution; Community Strategic Plan update and guiding overall organizational change and development.

Require Bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field. Prefer Master’s Degree with at least 5 years municipal management experience. ICMA-CM credential is a plus. Consideration of candidates with private sector or military experience will be made if they can demonstrate accomplishments that directly relate to the skills required. Residency is highly encouraged. 

Desire a proven leader who has the experience of guiding a municipality through a period of growth and the strong ability to cultivate positive and productive relationships with the village board, staff, business community and citizens. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of both personal and professional integrity; open and positive communication skills with a willingness to be active and engaged in the Bellevue community, while leading by example.

Utility Operator
 - The Village of Bellevue and the Department of Public Works invites applications for the position of Utility Operator.

The Utility Operator will provide general labor and skills in support of the delivery of public services, including, but not limited to; snow removal, utilities and street maintenance, heavy equipment operation, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

 The Village is seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in directly related work and a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the ability to obtain a CDL Class B within 3 months. Direct experience with utility operations including water distribution and sewer collection systems is highly desired.
