Youth Babysitter Class
Students will learn the fundamentals of childcare (feeding/diapering/etc..), child safety (choking emergencies/home hazards/etc...), and also learn Adult/Infant/Child CPR/AED! This is a great class to build confidence as they enter the exciting world of babysitting, or if they are starting to stay home alone for the first time. The class is taught by using an assortment of relevant videos, hands on skill learning sessions, and games. Enrolled students will receive: A 30 page digital course book prior to the start of class, a completion certificate, and an American Heart Association "Friends and Family" participation certificate, and an AHA 80 page Friends and Family student manual.
Students will need to bring their own lunch/beverage the day of class. Instructor is certified through the American Heart Association.
