Full-Time Positions:

Director of Public WorksThe Village of Bellevue, Wisconsin invites applications for the position of Public Works Director. 

The Village of Bellevue
The Village of Bellevue is a progressive community located in the Green Bay Metropolitan Area.  It is one of Brown County's fastest growing municipalities with a population of approximately 15,000 residents. The Village is a full-service municipality offering quality municipal services while maintaining combined local municipal tax and utility rates that are among the lowest compared with the other incorporated communities in the Brown County area.  Bellevue combines the best of urban and rural environments and offers high quality of life opportunities.  It has seven parks, a parkway and trail system, and a nature conservancy.  Bellevue has experienced substantial commercial and residential growth, supported by an active community development program.

Position Responsibilities
The Public Works Director is responsible for planning and managing the activities and operations of the Public Works Department; developing plans, goals, objectives and action steps for the Department; advising the Village Administrator on matters pertaining to departmental functions; and contributing to overall Village management as a member of the Village’s Executive Leadership Team.

Job Requirements
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Public Works Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field with a graduate degree desirable; a minimum of three years’ experience in public works management or a supervisory role; and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.  Preference will be given to applicants with a Wisconsin Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain a license within one year. A full job description can be found below.

Engineering TechnicianThe Village of Bellevue is one of greater Green Bay’s fastest growing municipalities with a population of over 15,300 residents.  The Village provides a full range of Public Works services to our residents and our growing community.  The Village is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to add to our team that is motivated to make Bellevue a “Great Place to Grow” and provide the highest quality of services to our residents, businesses and contractors working with the Village.

Job Description

Qualified applicants should possess at least five years of progressively responsible experience in engineering practices and/or public works inspection.  Applicants with more limited experience or greater experience in other aspects of municipal public works services are encouraged to apply. Starting wage range of $24.31-$28.50 DOQ. The Village offers a competitive benefits package and participates in WRS.

Full-Time/Temporary Administrative Assistant - This position will have the ability to work up to 40 hours/week (minimum 24 hours/week) until January 1, 2020 at which time this position may become a permanent part-time position.

The Village of Bellevue is looking for a dedicated individual for the position of temporary full-time Administrative Assistant. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers in person and on the phone; provides utility billing support, maintains records, and provides administrative assistance to department directors. The average work week will be 24-40 hours per week depending upon Village needs and candidate strengths. Pay rate is $15.00/hour.
