Information on the 2016 Village of Bellevue Budget is posted to the Budget & CIP page of the website. At its November 11th regular meeting, the Village Board approved the 2016 Village Budget. The Village's tax rate will not be changed from the current rate of $2.78 per $1,000 of assessed value.

It is time to sign up for the Village of Bellevue Citizens Academy. If you can only attend a few classes we are still very happy to accept you as a student. Participants will attend one evening per night over a period of six weeks. Sessions will last approximately an hour and half. Village staff will facilitate the sessions and provide in depth information on administration, local government, law enforcement, fire protections, public works, budget/finance, community development and leisure services. There are no tests or grades, it is simply to gain more infomation on the community that you live and take pride in.
The goals of the academy are to provide an educational experience for particpants at the same time offering an opportunity for residents and business owners to ask questions and to present their ideas. For many participants this opportunity will lead to an increase in communit involvement and volunteerism.
Class Dates: Thursday, March 10; Thursday, March 17; Thursday, March 31; Thursday, April 7; Thursday, April 14; Thursday, April 21; Wednesday, April 27 graduation at the Village Board Meeting

To comply with Village ordinance and DNR requirements, the village is performing in home cross connection inspections. The Village has contracted with HydroCorp to conduct the initial inspections. There are several job opportunities current available with the Village. The Public Works Department is currently accepting applications for Recreation Supervisor, Spring 2016 Seasonal Laborer. Leisure Services Department is currently accepting applications for it's Spring Dance Instructor, and Youth Sports Assistant.
