Adopted Plans

Each of the adopted documents below guide the long range planning and development for the Village of Bellevue. These plans implement the goals, policies and objectives of the Village Comprehensive Plan, which is the overarching document that guides new development in the Village.

*The Pedestrian & Bicycle Plan is currently being updated and revised.  Originally adopted in 2009, the plan establishes the overall goals and objectives for the Village's pedestrian and bicycle transportation system.  This plan is a guiding document which gives decision makers and staff a clear set of prioritized recommendations to accomplish the plan's goals.  The recommendations of facility type and timing of the facilities is needed in order to establish an overall vision for the community and achieve a complete and connected system.

This update is designed to revise out of date information, update completed projects and associated maps and recommend new projects that will further the goals of the Pedestrian & Bicycle Plan.

The Village of Bellevue will host an open house to address walking and bicycling within the community.  The open house will be held at the Village Hall (3100 Eaton Road) on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 5:30-6:30 pm.  During this time, Village staff will introduce the update of the Village's Pedestrian & Bicycle Plan to the community to obtain public input.  Attendees can review the work completed to date and provide feedback to Village staff.  If residents are unable to attend, comments, questions and suggestions can be sent to Michelle Du Chateau at  Exhibits and drafts can be found below.

A formal Public Hearing is tentatively scheduled for the Village Board on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.
