The Village hosted informational meetings to residents to present the upcoming construction and resurfacing projects for 2017. Topics included utility, sidewalk, and road construction as well as how the projects would be paid for including special assessments. The 2017 Proposed Village Budget is now available for review on the Budget & CIP page of the website. A presentation on the 2017 Budget, as well as a Public Hearing, will be completed on Wednesday, November 9th at the Village Board meeting (6:30 p.m., 3100 Eaton Road). The Village Board will then proceed with formal budget adoption at the same meeting. The 2017 Budget includes a 0.0% tax rate increase for the 5th year in a row.
To comply with Village ordinance and DNR requirements, the village is performing in home cross connection inspections. The Village has contracted with HydroCorp to conduct the initial inspections.
