The Leaders-In-Training (LIT) Program gives teens (Ages 13-16) the opportunity to gain leadership skills and to become a role model for younger children. Leaders-In-Training will assist the Camp Counselors at DeBroux or Josten Park with the Summer Day Camp and Summer Tots programs. They help plan activities, chaperone field trips, run the Camp Store, and much more!

Dates: Monday - Friday, June 17 - August 23
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Location: DeBroux or Josten Park
Application Deadline: Monday, June 10

How to Apply
STEP 1:
- Complete LIT Program application and personal statement and submit to the Village Office.
- Have one reference form completed on your behalf and returned to the Village Office
STEP 2:
- Once materials have been received, you will be asked to attend a mandatory group interview on:
- On Tuesday June 11 at either:
- Josten Park: 9-10 am
- DeBroux Park: 1-2 pm
- On Tuesday June 11 at either:
STEP 3:
- Camp Director and Coordinator will invite those that pass the interview process for a try-out at camp on Thursday June 13.
STEP 4:
- Those accepted into the program will be notified and asked to attend a paperwork meeting on Friday, June 14.
