Department Services
The Bellevue Fire Department provides a variety of services to the village on a 24 hour 365 day basis. On average the village has approximately 1000 Fire and ems calls each year.
Fire Prevention/Education
The Fire Prevention Division of the Bellevue Fire Department provides many services to the businesses and citizens of Bellevue
- Fire extinguisher training
- Bi-annual building inspections of all business
- Fire Protection system plan review
- Station tours
- School visits
Fire Suppression
The Bellevue Fire Department provides fire protection on a 24 hour basis to the citizens and businesses of the village. The department operates out of 2 stations using 2 front line engine companies, 1 ladder company, and 1 heavy reascue company.
Emergency Medical Response
County Rescue Services provides paramedic level care for the village. An engine company from station 1 first responds to emergency medical calls to assist County Rescue. Having a response from the west side of the village maximizes coverage with an ambulance responding from the east side of the village.
Special Operations Team
The Bellevue Fire Department has a team available to respond to most technical rescue incidents including:
- High angle rope rescue
- Trench rescue
- Vehicle extrications
- Confined space rescue
- Ice/water rescue
The fire department also provides these services to other municipalities in Brown County.
