Village residents vote at the Village Community Center, 1811 Allouez Avenue (Wards 1 –6), or at the Village Hall/Public Safety Building, 3100 Eaton Road (Wards 7-10). Your voting place depends on where you live. If you are unsure as to which polling place you are to vote at, please call the Village Office or view the Voter Ward Map below. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on election day. Please note that no absentee voting or registrations are allowed the Monday before an election.
You must register before you can vote in the Village of Bellevue. This can be done prior to the election at the Village Office (until 5:00 p.m. Friday prior to an election), or on election day at the polls. You will need one form of proof of residence (ex. WI drivers license, utility bill, telephone bill, pay stub, bank statement, etc.) with your current Bellevue address. In order to register and vote, you must have resided in Bellevue for at least (28) days prior to the election.
Photo ID Requirements
NO PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED FOR THE NOVEMBER 4th ELECTION. For the latest information on voter photo ID for the future, please visit the State Government Accountability Board (GAB) website.
If you will be out of the Village for an election or wish to vote absentee, an application (GAB 121) must be completed to have your ballot mailed. In-person absentee voting can also be completed at the Village Office (2828 Allouez Ave.). All requests for absentee ballots must include the signature of the elector and absentee ballots can not be taken from the Village Office for voting, except in very specific cases. Absentee ballots must be mailed from the Village or voted in-person in our office.
