The Village is working toward providing it's residents with alternative methods of transportation through multi-modal pathways, trails and sidewalks.
The Village has adopted a "Connectivity Plan" that will be used to address connectivity through alternative methods of transportation.
In addition, the Village is taking a lead role in providing "Safe Routes to School." A committee was formed in January 2008 to review and apply for grant funding to improve safety in and around school areas within the village.
