Completed Park Projects

Bower Creek Park, located in the Bower Creek North Subdivision at 3223 Barkwood Circle is a .83 acre mini-park.  Land for the park was dedicated to the village at the time of development.  The department planned and facilitated construction of the park site in 2008.  Ammenities include a 5-12 year old playground, swings, rockers, sand play, 20’ hexagonal gazebo, significant plantings and accessible walkways.

DeBroux Park, located at 2900 Brighton Place is a 12.5 acre neighborhood park.  A new playground was constructed in 2008.  The new playground was relocated from the original site to be closer to the shelter, restrooms and parking.  Accessible walkways were installed as well.

Bel-Meadow Park, located at the intersection of Bel-Meadow Dr and Woodland Hills Ct. is a 3.1 acre mini-park.  The park was originally developed in 1986.  In 2008, the Village completely renovated the park’s ammenities.  Improvements include new playstructures, 20’ square open shelter with seating, and accessible walkways.
