Welcome to the Leisure Services Department!

The department is responsible for providing recreational programs and activities for youth, adults and seniors.

In addition, the department is responsible for 11 park sites and designated open space areas totaling over 150 acres of which approximately 60-70 acres have been developed for public use in the form of facilities, playgrounds, walking trails, etc.

Other major responsibilities include routine maintenance of facilities & equipment, providing support services for community special events, and park development and maintaing the Village's urban forest.

The Bellevue Leisure Services Department is dedicated to improving the quality of life and building a strong community. The department accomplishes this by offering a wide variety of lifelong programs and services to all ages, providing safe, aesthetic park facilities and open spaces, offering an established urban forestry program, and being involved in our community.
