Village Departments

Administrative Services		The Administrative Services Department includes the offices of the village administrator and the assistant administrator. The department is responsible for the overall management of village operations including public works, finance, utilities, leisure services and public safety.

Assessor		The Village of Bellevue contracts with Fair Market Assessments to complete it's assessments.

Clerk/Treasurer		The Office of Clerk-Treasurer is responsible for many activities for the village. Listed below are some of those functions: Payroll Accounts payable and receivable Investment of village funds Debt administration Water & sewer billings and collections Tax billing and collections

Community Development		The Community Development Department includes the Planning Division, Economic Development Division, and the Building Inspection Division. The Department's most important responsibility involves guiding and managing the development, construction, and use of property in a manner that maximizes the positive benefits for all of Bellevue, while at the same time minimizes the negative impacts on the use and enjoyment of individual properties. Recent history in Bellevue has shown that coordinated, quality, managed land use and development attracts additional private investment to the Village, enhances the value of existing properties within it, and makes the Village of Bellevue a more desirable place to live and conduct business.

Fire		We are a progressive organization made up of dedicated personnel, who are willing to give their time and energy to help the community in the event of any type of emergency. We also provide Fire Safety Education and Fire Inspections to the residents and businesses of Bellevue.

Leisure Services		The Bellevue Leisure Services Department is dedicated to improving the quality of life and building a strong community. The department accomplishes this by offering a wide variety of lifelong programs and services to all ages, providing safe, aesthetic park facilities and open spaces, offering an established urban forestry program, and being involved in our community.

Municipal Court		The Bellevue Municipal Court handles citations issued in the Village of Bellevue for traffic and non-traffic ordinance violations. The Court's primary function is to administer justice and hold individuals accountable for their actions when found guilty of local ordinance violations.

Police Services		The Village of Bellevue contracts its law enforcement services from the Brown County Sheriffs Department. Protection involves the prevention, detection, apprehension, prosecution, and detention of those persons who violate criminal or civil, state or local laws.

Public Works		The Bellevue Public Works Deptartment is responsible for maintenance of all Village streets and right-of-way as well as operation of the Village sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water utility.
