- Bellin Clinic is now under construction at the northeast corner of S. Huron Road and Eaton Road. The 63,000 square foot, 2 story clinic is anticipated to be completed by the end of the year. A formal ground breaking ceremony was held on June 25th.
- Grand Central Station is now open at Manitowoc Road & CTH JJ. A 3-story, 67 room AmericInn Hotel is also under construction at that location.
- Construction has begun on the new Bellin College of Nursing located at 3201 Eaton Road, directly west of the Bellin Clinic. The nearly 73,000 square foot facility is scheduled to be completed in July of 2009. A goundbreaking celebration was held September 10, 2008.
V. Jane Muhl, President & CEO of Bellin College of Nursing had this to say about working with the Village:
"The Village of Bellevue has worked untiringly to rezone the land for the College use, approved the site plan, and granted the building permit for our nearly 73,000 square foot facility."
- Construction of the new 4,241 square foot Janssen Dental Clinic located at 2649 Development Drive will commence in mid-July with completion expected in mid-December.
- Construction is continuing on the new Stein Garden & Gifts store located at 2727 Eaton Road. It is anticipated that the store will be open later this fall.
- Construction is finishing up on the Guesthouse Inn & Suites located at 2612 Decuria Lane. This is Bellevue's first hotel. An opening is expected in the beginning of October.
- Dorsch Ford Kia recently began construction of an approximately 10,000 square foot expansion of their current showroom. This addition will accomodate the addition of the Lincoln and Mercury brands. There will also be a separate showroom for the Kia Brand. The entire exterior of the showroom will be modernized.
